A balmy Caribbean evening and the rustic openness of the Phase 11 Pan Yard provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of Poetry, Music and Conscious Vibes.
The session hosted by Black Sage, opened just after 9pm before a small but appreciative audience which included Magella Moreau of Gayelle and Dr. Michael Alleyne formerly a Programme Director at the Ministry of Education.
Circle of Poets Vice President Sheldon Manoo performed two of his pieces accompanied by the Rising Tide Tassa Group. Dara E. Healy of Idakeda, Soca Star Dwayne Arthur ‘Skhi' and others offered their poetry and music, before the Rapso icon Brother Resistance closed the show with two thoughtful and powerful pieces. Everyone there was of the view that the Conscious Limes at the Pan Yard need to continue as there was a truly peaceful energy and sense of togetherness amongst those who attended.
