Idakeda issues warning of legal action against illegal reproduction of Kambule or other works by Eintou Springer

It has come to our attention that there is a person or people out there who intend to sell copies of the latest presentation of Kambule written by Eintou Pearl Springer and showcased on Piccadilly Greens Carnival Friday 2012

It has come to our attention that there is a person or people out there who intend to sell copies of the latest presentation of 'Kambule' written by Eintou Pearl Springer and showcased on Piccadilly Greens, Carnival Friday 2012.

Obviously, the intention is to reproduce Eintou's work and profit from it illegally, as no approach has been made to anyone from IDAKEDA to facilitate a reproduction of the performance. Apart from the copyright of the playwright, there is also the consideration that illegal reproduction completely disregards the rights of the main actors involved.

This release therefore serves as the first in a series of targeted responses informing that any reproduction of this play is not authorised by Eintou Springer or her representatives. We wish to state without any ambiguity, that failure to comply with international copyright law and precedents regarding our plays or published and unpublished works, will result in full legal action against the offending parties.

We also look forward to your full support in this matter, as you refuse to purchase any unauthorised copies of 'Kambule' or any of our other works and you let us know if anyone tries to involve you in such flagrant disrespect and dishonour.
