Educators and students from Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region recently benefited from a workshop on ‘The Art and Importance of Storytelling' conducted by Eintou Pearl Springer and Dara Healy, supported by the Chibale Drumming Ensemble.

Eintou told one of her original Anansi stories to illustrate the fundamentals of Telling a Story, its' content, delivery and main messages. Educators were encouraged to source as much information as possible about the culture of their own country in order to empower themselves to be able to successfully use stories in a classroom scenario.

The workshop was enjoyable and interactive, as both the educators and the students helped to dramatise Eintou's story and even created their own stories.
