Young people from all over Trinidad and Tobago have been quietly working over the August vacation to get ready for their November performance of How Anansi Bring the Drum

Young people from all over Trinidad and Tobago have been quietly working over the  August vacation to get ready for their November performance of ‘How Anansi Bring the Drum'. November was chosen for the performance because it is celebrated internationally as African History Month.

The play, written and directed by Eintou Pearl Springer, is part of the playwrights' contribution to the United Nations declared International Year in Honour of People of African Descent. More details here

The story is an exciting one, featuring original songs, music, dance, drama and elements that are intrinsically representative of the culture and heritage of Trinidad and Tobago.
