Eintou Springer speaks on the importance of Storytelling
Eintou Springer will present a wide ranging paper later this week at an upcoming conference on Storytelling in Martinique.
Springer, a storyteller for many decades, will share with conference participants her perspective on the importance of stories as transformation for young people who are ‘At Risk' and as healing for communities.

In recognition of the fact that 2011 is being celebrated by the United Nations as the year for people of African Heritage, Springer will also turn her attention to the importance of accurately portraying African storytelling and other creative artforms. She will speak of the important role of the conscious storyteller and the need to celebrate not denigrate our African folk forms.
