Eintou and Louis Reyes Rivera to jam poetry live on WBAI radio New York
Poet Louis Reyes Rivera, Eintou's long time friend and colleague, and host of his own radio programme 'Perspective' on WBAI in New York, will share poetry live on air with the Poet Laureate during her visit to the Big Apple later this month. Eintou and Dara will be in studio with Louis for a live one hour session of poetry on Thursday 27th, from 2-3pm.
Louis' WBAI biodata describes him as the Janitor of History, having served as a living bridge between African and Latino American communities. His poetry and performances have earned him the accolade, Dean of the Nuyorican School. Louis is also a recognized scholar on African-American and Caribbean history and literature.
