GENS DARIME DEBUTS AT 2006ARIMA BOROUGH DAY CELEBRATIONS
‘Gens D’Arime’, an original play by Pearl Eintou Springer was the feature presentation for the Arima Borough Day celebrations this year. The title of the play is Patois for ‘People of Arima’.
The focus of the production is the life, challenges and victories of Carib Warrior Hyarima, after whom the Borough is named. The play, created specially for the occasion, was showcased on the day of the celebrations, Saturday August 12th 2006 and featured regular Popolito Players actor, Kevin Mc Mayo.
