Harmony in Diversity, another original play by Eintou Pearl Springer, traces the history of Trinidad and Tobago through poetry, dance, music and the use of traditional Carnival characters. Harmony in Diversity was the Trinidad and Tobago presentation for the 2000 regional cultural showcase CARIFESTA in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Freedom Morning Come recreates the spirit of anticipation and anger of a group of Africans who have travelled to hear the Proclamation read. As they gather on August 1st, 1834, each one shares the story of his or her suffering, resistance and survival.

Eintou attends the historic conference.

Idakeda teams up with the Circle of Poets of Trinidad and Toabago to put on the first ever National Poetry Festival. The event kicked off at the National Museum in Port of Spain, Trinidad on October 15th featuring the headline performer son of the soil, Roger Bonair-Agard based in New York. A wonderful start to a week of celebration of oral tradition and innovation.
