Eintou will be speaking to two topics at the conference – Anansi as a symbol of cultural resistance, and Storytelling as an alternative pedagogy. She will also be performing some of her stories used in interventions with young people and adults across the Caribbean and globally.

Ms. Springer has published two collections of stories and poems for children and is well known internationally as a storyteller. She recently hosted two weeks of storytelling at the Tricycle theatre in London.

Her stories have also been dramatised by Dara Healy and Idakeda’s Chibale Drumming Ensemble at the Bocas Literary Festival.
