Hyarima rehearsals begin

Rehearsals for the 2008 production of 'I, Hyarima' began this weekend with a full complement of cast, dancers and stage crew. The original play by Eintou Pearl Springer will be staged on October 17th at the square opposite the Cathedral in Arima.

Idakeda warmly welcomes to the team veteran stage manager and long time theatre colleague of Eintou's, Patrick Cambridge. We also acknowledge the excellent and sensitive contribution of well known dancer and choreographer Allan Balfour, master drummer 'Redman' and the venerable Errol 'Blood' Roberts in the title role. Young warriors Prior Joseph and Joshua Logan are with us again, while we welcome the dancers who have been with us for a while such as Samantha Flores and express our thanks for the presence of the new dance talent.
